Newlands Cross Medical Centre Practice Information
Newlands Cross Medical Centre
Booking An Appointment:
Please phone us on 01 464 3386 to book an appointment with the doctor or nurse.
If possible, please let us know which type of service that you require, or if you would like to see a specific doctor. This information helps our admin team to facilitate you as best they can.
We know your time is important and we always try our best to keep to time. However, sometimes delays can arise due to medical emergencies which need to be prioritised. We kindly ask for your understanding if we are running behind time.
We greatly appreciate you being on time for your own appointment. This helps us to keep to time and reduces knock on delays for other patients.
We usually make follow up arrangements at the time that your test/investigation is carried out.
We kindly request that you register and sign a consent form for our free texting service to facilitate this process. We have a form for this available at reception.
Unfortunately, we are not able to email test results due to recent data protection legislation.
Most blood, urine and X-Ray/Radiology results are back within 2 weeks or so. If you have not heard back from us within this time frame, then please contact the surgery for your results.
Request For Letters / Forms:
Letters and forms that require certification of a person’s health status or identity can only be completed following consultation with one of our doctors.
Requests for the completion of insurance documents, PMAs, support letters and other application forms must be submitted to the office giving a minimum of 3 working days notice. Please ask our admin team whether or not a consultation is required.
The above services are subject to a relevant fee, depending on the complexity and are not covered by the HSE for medical card or doctor visit cardholders.
